54 of the best young golfers in Ayrshire will line up at Ballochmyle on Thursday 2nd August 2007 for the 56th Ayrshire Boys Golf Championship.
The 36 hole strokeplay event was won last year by John Shanks (Irvine) who went on to take the senior title at the start of 2007. Shanks is too olde to defend the boys title this year.
Lowest handicappers in the field this year are Scottish internationalist and former winner Cameron Gray (West Kilbride) and his Ayrshire county teammate Euan Brown (Kilmarnock Barassie) who are both currently playing off scratch.
