John Cairney (Irvine ravenspark) is the first player to win a place in the quarter finals of the 2007 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions competition. Cairney, the holder of the Doc Thom Order Of Merit Trophy secured his place in the last eight with a 2 & 1 home win over Paul Moultrie (Troon Portland)
