JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Mackay storms back to the top after wins in Ayrshire Boys and at Ballochmyle

Wins at Ballochmyle and in the Ayrshire Boys, along with 4th spot at the Tom Lehman tournament have given Jamie Mackay (Kilmarnock Barassie) a clear lead in the Order Of Merit, with only 6 events remaining to be recorded.

Stuart Robin (Prestwick St. Nicholas) regained second spot after his second placing in the Ayrshire Boys Championship, whilst Graeme Gimson (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) moved into 4th after his win at the Tom Lehman event, and points gained at the Ayrshire Boys.

Results are still awaited from the opens at Beith and Loudoun, whilst the next qualifying events are the Ayr Belleisle Open on Thursday 11th August and the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay from 11 to 13 August. The last two events will be the Kilbirnie Place and Irvine Ravenspark events on Sunday 14th and Tuesday 16th August respectively.
