AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - Draws made for 2025 competitions

The draws for the various Ayrshire Junior Golf League competitions in 2025 were made at the meeting of the club convenors held on Tuesday the 4th of February.

Nine clubs will take part in the Ayrshire Junior Golf League Championship, with two qualifying sections being played, on a home and away basis, and the winners of each section progressing to the final which will be held in August at Ballochmyle GC.

The draw for the qualifying sections is:-   

2025 AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

SECTION A – East Ayrshire, Prestwick St Nicholas, Irvine, Turnberry, Troon Welbeck

SECTION B – West Kilbride, Prestwick St Cuthbert, Kilmarnock Barassie, Ayr Belleisle

All qualifying section fixtures are scheduled to be completed by 27^th July 2025.

 

Ten clubs will contest the Under 16 Knockout trophy which is played for by teams of four players on a handicap basis, either at home or away as drawn.

The final will be held at Ballochmyle GC in August.

Kilmarnock Barassie		:		Turnberry or East Ayrshire
Prestwick St Nicholas		:		Annanhill
Irvine or Prestwick St Cuthbert		:		Ayr Belleisle

Eight clubs will contest the scratch team knockout competition for The Wallace Thornton Trophy, which involved teams of four and is played on a home or away basis as drawn.

The final will be held at Ballochmyle GC in August.

Twelve players will contest the Ayrshire Junior Champion of Champions Trophy competition, which is played on a scratch basis either home or away, as drawn.

The final of this competition is also scheduled to be played at Ballochmyle GC in August
