Despite preparations being hampered by two late call offs on Saturday evening, the Ayrshire Youths team secured a 4 - 4 draw at Dunblane New in the corresponding match against Stirlingshire Youths, and were unfortunate not to get the overall win, with three of the ties being lost on the final green.
