SCOTTISH STUDENTS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS - Greg Telfer lies second at halfway stage

Greg Telfer
Ayrshire golfer Greg Telfer (Glasgow University) lies in second place at the halfway stage of the 94th Scottish Students Golf Championship, being held this week at Moray Golf Club.

Despite an enforced lay off over the winter months, the Prestwick St Cuthbert GC member recorded six 6 birdies in his second round for a best of the day score of 67, three under par, which left him just one shot of the halfway lead.

The concluding two rounds of the strokeplay competition are scheduled to be completed on Tuesday 29th March. The event will then progress to matchplay.
