HOME INTERNATIONALS - McDonald helps Scots to win over England

Scotland scored an emphatic 10.5 - 4.5 win over England on the second day of the Home Internationals at Glasgow Gailes on Thursday to maintain their hopes for the title.

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie), playing in the lead foursomes in the morning with Graeme Robertson, got scotland off to the best possible start with a 3 & 1 win over Neil Raymond and Garrick Porteous.

In the afternoon singles, McDonald again had a win over Porteous, beating him by 1 hole to maintain his unbeaten record.

Ireland, who face England on Friday, are now in pole position with two wins from two after defeating Wales by 11.5 - 3.5 on Thursday.
