The club, founder members of the Ayrshire Junior Golf League in 1968 and the first League Champions in 1969 have a long history of junior development within their junior section but, due to internal issues, the junior team dropped out of the Ayrshire Junior Golf League last year, a competition they had competed in every years since its formation.
Wit the appointement of kenny Milliken, himself a former junior member and a competitor in the Ayrshire Junior Golf League, the club hope to spark a revival in the fortunes of the junior section and ultimately make a return to Ayrshire Junior Golf League competition.

TROON ST MEDDANS GOLF CLUB
We are delighted to confirm that a new convener has been appointed and we have a full fixture list for the coming season. The first competition of the year will be held on sat 4th february from 11.30 am where we will welcome members new and old. Applications will be taken every saturday in the lounge at the clubhouse before the competition. At all other times forms are available from the starters box at troon municipal clubhouse or can be downloaded from troonstmeddansgolfclub.com/forum
