After the succesful reorgasnisation of the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit last season, the format has been retained for the forthcoming season, with the same 15 counting events being used to determint the 2009 winner.
The 2009 season opens with The Ayrshire Strokeplay at Irvine on Sunday 26th April and concludes with the traditional final event, the Arrol Cup at Prestwick St. Nicholas on Saturday 19th September.
