Ayrshire Golf Association outgoing President Andrew Gilligan recently handed over a cheque to his chosen partner charity during his two year tenure representing the donations raised during Ayrshire Golf Association events in 2025.
The cheque was handed over to fellow Ayrshire Golf Association executive member and Ayrshire Cancer Support volunteer and ambassador Liz Keohone representing the charity.
The latest donation took the total donated over the two year period of Andrew's presidency to £8,635.35.
Andrew demitted office at the recent Ayrshire Golf Association AGM, and a new, local, partner charity for the two year tenure of current President Barry O'Rourke's tenure has been identified and will be announced soon.
The Association would like to thank all those who made donations during the season at events and also The Association's main sponsors, lomond Property for their support in raising funds along with The Association for Ayrshire cancer Support during 2025.
