AYRSHIRE MEN'S CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS - Opening first round ties played

The opening first round ties of the 2023 Ayrshire Men's Champion of Champions Trophy competition are under way, with all first round matches due to be completed by the 23rd of April.

Charles Coyle (Tam O Shanter) was awarded a walkover by his first round opponent Craig Menzies (Muirkirk) and will now travel to either Troon St Meddans or Redburn in round two.  

Cameron Aitken (Largs) is also through to round two after a home win over Stuart Dunlop (Kilmarnock Barassie) in round one, and will be at home to either Andrew Armour (Malletsheugh) or Ryan Morrison (Ayr Seafield) 

Andrew Thomson (Routenburn) had a 7&5 win on his visit to play George Paton (Troon Merchants) and will travel to either Troon Welbeck or Prestwick St Cuthbert in round two, whilst Robbie Macinnes (Rowallan Castle) beat his visitor Gary Bole (Portmann) in round one and will now play host to the Ayr Carrick or Annanhill representative in round two. 

Kierean Reid (Alton) is the first player through to round three, courtesy of a walkover against Colin Wallace (NB Parkstone), and will travel to play the winner of Cameron Aitken's second round tie in round three.
