A 5 & 4 victory in his third round tie, at home to Robbie McFarlane (Caprington), earned Scott Ainsworth an away tie against either Gordon Jess (North Beach) or Steven Stamper (Turnberry) in the last eight.
The remaining six third round ties are due to be completed by the 19th of June
