Andrew Gordon (Ayr Belleisle) started the Ayrshire revival with a 3 & 1 win, and 3 & 2 wins for both Robbie Muir (Kilmarnock Barassie) and Murray McCrone (Troon Welbeck) gave Ayrshire a 4 - 3 lead with one tie remaining.
