The remaining second round matches in the 2016 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy competition have been completed.Jack Broun (Ayr Belleisle) was a 4 & 3 winner away from home against Gregor Mackintosh (Girvan) to book his third round place, whilst Derek Ballantyne (Ardeer) used home advantage to defeat Jack Purdie (Largs) by 6 & 5.
Martin Moore (Tam O Shanter) had a 2 & 1 away win against Campbell McCluskie (Crosshouse) and will be at home in the last sixteen to Alan Oliver (Caprington) following Oliver's 6 & 5 home win over David Power (Troon St Meddans) in round two.
The remaining outstanding result was a notable victory at home for John Sloan (Doon Valley) who beat the new Ayrshire Matchplay Champion John Shanks (Irvine) by 5 & 4.
