AYRSHIRE SCRATCH LEAGUES - Latest positions

Only a few fixtures remain to be played in the five Ayrshire Scratch Leagues for 2012, with only three promotion or relegation issues still to be decided.

DIVISION 1 was completed last week with Loudoun taking the championship title and Ballochmyle dropping back down to Division 2 in 2013.

 In DIVISION 2, Ardeer's 5 - 1 home win over Caprington moved them clear in second place to league champions West Kilbride. New Cumnock will drop down to Division 3 in 2013.
Only two fixtures remain to be played, with Ayr Belleisle facing away matches at New Cumnock and Prestwick St Cuthbert.

 Troon St Meddans moved to the top of DIVISION 3 with a 6 - 0 home win over Tam O Shanter whilst former leaders Largs could only manage a 3 - 3 home drawe against the same opponents.
Four matches remain to be played in the division, with the destiny of the title and the relegation place still unclear.
Largs have two home matches still to play, against Prestwick St Nicholas and Troon St Meddans, and an away match at KIlbirnie Place whilst Prestwick St Nicholas also have a home match against Kilbirnie still to complete.

In DIVISION 4, Moorpark dropped into the danger area after successive defeats, by 4.5 - 1.5 at home to Turnberry and by 6 - 0 away to Maybole, the latter result ensuring maybole's place in the division in 2013.

Girvan's bid for a 100% record in their matches this season lies with their final match at Maybole whilst Ayr dalmilling are at home to Turnberry in their final fixture where a draw will ensure that they stay in Division 4 next season, at the expense of Moorpark.

 In DIVISION 5, Brunston castle and Doon Valley could both finish in second place, depending on the results of the final two matches. Brunston Castle are at home in their two remaining fixtures, against Doon Valley and new champions Rowallan Castle.
