The last scheduled week of the 2011 West Of Scotland Inter County Leagues was completed on Sunday 16th October with the two Ayrshire sides experiencing mixed fortunes.
The A Team travelled to Cawder to play Glasgow in a must win match but, despite looking like possibly snatching a draw late on, the senior side were edged out 6 - 4 by their hosts.
In the Youths match at Ayr Seafield, Ayrshire looked to maintain their lead at the top of the table against Glasgow, and with only three of the ten man team losing their matches, the Ayrshire Youths side ran out winners by 6 - 4.

Gary Morrison (Annanhill) halved with Christie Gray (Williamwood)
Steven Hill (Prestwick St Cuthbert) beat Matt O'Neill (Cathcart Castle) by 2 & 1
Daniel Forbes (Ardeer) lost to Neil McArthur (Bishopbriggs) by 2 & 1
Greg Vernon (Annanhill) lost to Blair Crabb (Williamwood) by 1 hole

With a number of postponed matches in weeks 3 & 4, the remaining West League fixtures should be completed over the next two weekends.
The two Ayrshire teams have still to play Lanarkshire in matches postponed in week 3.
The re arranged Youths match against lanarkshire is scheduled to be played on Sunday 23rd October at Ballochmyle whilst the A team match is due to take place the same day, with the venue to be confirmed.
