Ayrshire born Sam Torrance and Prestwick resident Ross Drummond made a solid start to the 2010 European Seniors Tour this week in the innaugural Mauritius Commercial Bank Open, which heralded the start of the 2010 tour schedule.
In the tournament, won by Englishman Kevin Spurgeon, Torrance finished in third place on 212, four under par, after a closing five under par round of 67.
Drummond was consistent over the three championship rounds, returning 71-72-72 for a one under par total of 215 for a share of 11th spot.
