Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) helped Scotland to stage a superb fightback in the singles to earn a 7.5 - 7.5 draw with England on Sunday 4th October in the Under 16 Boys' International match at Arbroath links.
4 - 1 down after the morning foursomes, the Scotland team clawed back the lunchtime defecit by winning the first three singles, thanks to Calum Stewart (3 and 2), Jack McDonald (4 and 3) and Grant Forrest (3 and 2).
Liam Johnston halved his tie in the fourth singles whilst the final four matches were shared.
