Rachael McQueen (Troon Ladies) was runner up behind Carly Booth in the Junioe Champion Of Champions event at Kingsbarns on Sunday 2nd November.
Matching par of 72, McQueen was a distant five shots behind Curtis Cup player Booth, who blew away the opposition with a stunning score of 67.
The boys' event was a tighter affair with Andy McLachlan (Bonnyton) matching Booth’s 67 to win by just two strokes from Mark Dickson (Gullane).
Ayrshire's representative in the boys event, Kyle Smith (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished in equal 12th spot on 75.
