AYRSHIRE JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE - New League officials elected to posts

At the meeting of the Ayrshire Junior Golf League Executive on Monday 6 February 2006, Bill Taylor, a past club Captain, was elected to the Chairmanship of The League, on behalf of and representing Troon Welbeck.

The meeting also elected Barry Somerville (Caprington) to the post of Secretary, replacing Alasdair Malcolm (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) who demitted office at this meeting, having served over 16 years in the post. Barry Somerville was also elected as the League representative to the Ayrshire Golf Association.

Following the retiral of the Assistant Secretary Alastair Graham (Prestwick St. Cuthbert) at the A.G.M. last year, Billy Tait (Annanhill) was elected to the vacant post.

Former Ayrshire Golf Association President Robin Baker was elected to the post of League Treasurer.
