PRESIDENT'S PUTTER - Ballochmyle beat Troon Portland at Loudoun

Ballochmyle won the Ayrshire handicap club knockout competition for the President's Putter on Sunday 3rd September at Loudoun Gowf Club when they defeated Troon Portland in the final.

In the lead singles tie Billy Hamilton beat Andrew Power by 3&2 and a 6&4 win by Tom Scott over Gary Finlayson in the second singles tie ensured that the Ballochmyle team would take the trophy in 2017. In the final foursomes tie, Jack Murdoch and Jim Holland completed a 3 - 0 win for Ballochmyle with a 4&3 win over Peter malone & Jim McComiskey
