The Ayrshire Under 18 team suffered a second successive narrow defeat away from home on Sunday 11th June, when they faced Stirlingshire at Strathkendrick GC, in their latest fixture in the West Of Scotland Inter County Under 18 league for the Wishart Trophy.

Defeats in the opening three under 16 ties made the task of securing a result difficult for the Ayrshire team, but in the end they were defeated by the narrowest of margins, going down by 3.5 - 2.5 in the match.
