WEST OF SCOTLAND INTER COUNTY FOURSOMES FINALS - 1-2-3 for Ayrshire in the handicap event at Cochrane Castle

Ayrshire had success in the West Of Scotland Woman's County Foursomes Finals on Wednesday 7th June, with pairings from the county filling the first three places in the handicap category at Cochrane Castle.

A total of 48  ladies from the four counties in the West (Ayrshire, Dumbarton and Argyll, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire) enjoyed Cochrane Castle GC last Wednesday (June 7) despite the strong tricky wind and very thick rough.

The course was in remarkable condition after torrential rain and the green staff must be commended for all their efforts.

1st Scratch: Alyson McGinnigle and Carol McNally (Renfrewshire) 80
2nd Scratch: Lorraine Campbell and Laura McGeachy (D and A) 89
