AYRSHIRE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY - First county championship win for John Sloan

The final of the 2016 Ayrshire Champion Of Champions Trophy took place at Royal Troon on Friday 12th August, with John Sloan (Doon Valley) taking his first county golf title.



Neither John Sloan or his final opponent Paul Denim (Loudoun) had won the Champion Of Champions Trophy in the past, and with a new winner of the title guaranteed, it was John Sloan who prevailed with a 5 & 3 victory.

Ayrshire Golf Association Past President Ricky Magee presented vouchers to both finalists at the end of the match and handed the Champion Of Champions Trophy and commemorative medal to the new champion John Sloan.
