Two Troon Ladies Golf Club members helped the
Scotland Schools Girls team to a win over their hosts England in the annual
schools golf international match at Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club on Monday
8th September.

Emma Hale secured a half point in the morning
foursomes alongside Claire Robertson whilst Hazel McGarvie, playing with
Shannon McWilliam, lost out by 2 & 1 as The foursomes were shared 1.5 – 1.5.

In the afternoon both Ayrshire girls enjoyed
success, Hazel McGarvie beating Hollie Vizard by 1 hole and Emma Hale chalking
up a 3 & 2 win over Holly Morgan, as Scotland took the singles 3.5 – 2.5
for an overall win by 5 – 4.
In the corresponding boys match, with no Ayrshire
representation this year, Scotland lost out by 10 – 8 to their English opponents.
