Alan Harrington (Western Gailes) was the best placed of the Ayrshire players who took part in the East Of Scotland Seniors Championship, held at Forfar GC on 6th and 7th June.
Harrington had rounds of 71 & 74 for a total of 145 which left him in joint 11th place, six shots adrift of the winner Lindsay Blair (Grangemouth)
Next best of the Ayrshire competititors was David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) who was joint 14th on 147 after rounds of 71 & 76.
