SCOTTISH SCHOOLS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP - Connie Jaffrey takes girls title at Murrayshall

Connie Jaffrey (Troon ladies) continued her good form of 2013 when she won the girls individual title at the Scottish Schools Golf Championship, held at Murrashall GC on Monday 10th June.

having already won the Ayrshire Ladies County Championship title for the first time earlier this year, Jaffrey stormed to an eight shot victory in the girls event.

Best placed Ayrshire player in the boys championship was Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) who had rounds of 70 & 71 for a share of fourth place, eight shots behind the winner Connor Syme.

Although there were some good individual performances, none of the Ayrshire teams, representing the thre local authority areas, featured in the team prizes.
