DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Smyth leads after six events

Michael Smyth (Royal Troon) has moved to the top of the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit table after his win in the Belleisle Cup earlier this month.

The present holder of the Doc Thom Salver, David Wilson (Troon Welbeck) remains challenging to retain the title in second place whilst Ayrshire Strokeplay winner Staur Robin (Prestwick St Nicholas) is in third position.

A share of second place in the Belleisle Cup moved Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) into fourth place whilst Keith Hamilton (Ayr Belleisle) and Steven Stamper (Turnberry) shared the top points in the recent Ayr Seafield Open to move up to fifth and sixth respectively.

The next counting event is The Amateur Championship at Royal Cinque Ports from 17 - 22 June with the only other counting event remaining this month being the McGilchrist Cup at Ardeer on Saturday 22nd June.
