ST ANDREWS LINKS TROPHY - McDonald is top Scot in joint fifth

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) finished top Scot, in joint fifth place, at the St Andrews Links Trophy in St Andrews at the weekend.

McDonald carded a three under par total of 285 to finish three shots adrift of the winner,  Neil Raymond (Corehampton)

McDonald's good finish came despite a second round 76. His four rounds in the championship were 71,76,67 & 71.
