Kilmarnock Barassie have secured their place in the final of the inaugural Ayrshire Women's Handicap League Championship.

As the fixtures in qualifying section A were completed recently, Kilmarnock Barassie's 4 - 0 home win over Loudoun in their final fixture confirmed their qualification as group winners. In the other outstanding fixture in the section, Troon Welbeck finished their season with a 2.5 - 1.5 home win over Prestwick St Cuthbert.

Kilmarnock Barassie's opponents in the final could still be one of three teams in Section B.

Caprington have completed all their fixtures and are top of the table at present, but a 2 - 2 draw away to Largs recently for Ballochmyle means that Ballochmyle still have a chance to overtake Caprington at the top of the table should they win their final match at home to Largs, by a sufficient margin.

Largs can also still overtake both Ballochmyle and Caprington, depending on the result of their remaining fixtures, at home to Ayr Belleisle Ladies and away to Ballochmyle.

With these two fixtures remaining to be played, present positions in Section B are:-
