AYRSHIRE MEN'S HANDICAP LEAGUE - Ayr Seafield confirmed as best runners up

Ayr Seafield have been confirmed as the final qualifier for the knockout stages of the 2023 Ayrshire Men's Handicap League Championship, and take their place in the quarter final knockout stages of the tournament.

Ayr Seafield were matched in points average over the games played by both Kilbirnie Place, who won their final home match against Kilmarnock Barassie by 5.5-0.5,  and Ballochmyle from sections A and D, but took the best runners up spot by the narrowest of margins when comparing individual ties won and lost over their respective qualifying sections, with Ayr Seafield being +10, against Kilbirnie Place with +9 and Ballochmyle with +8.

Ayr Seafield now play West Kilbride, home and away, for a place in the semi finals.


The full quarter final line up, with ties to be completed by the 6th of August, is:-

ALTON Vs PORTMANN

AUCHENHARVIE 88 vs IRVINE RAVENSPARK
