The championship is open to any male golfer who is 50 years of age or more on the date of the competition, and is a member of a club affiliated to The Ayrshire Golf Association. Entry fee is £1-0 and maximum handicap index is 36.0.
The winner will be the player returning the best nett score on the day, winning the Sandy Provan trophy, a commemorative medal and winners voucher.
A scratch prize and further handicap prizes in three age groups will also be available, as well as two nearest the hole prizes and an optional magic twos competition.
