CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TROPHY - Seven more through to round two

With just four days left for completion of first round ties in the 2021 Ayrshire Champion of Champions Trophy to go, seven more players have booked their places in the second round line up.

Stuart White (Girvan) beat his host Alasdair Berry (Irvine Ravenspark) by 6&4 to set up a home tie against David A MacDonald (Largs) in round two, whilst Stuart Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) also had a win away from home, by 5 & 4 against Jordan Milne (Redburn), and now has a home time in round two against Alan Watson (Ballochmyle)

Craig Menzies (New Cumnock), Scott Wilson (Kilmarnock Barassie) and Gordon Munro (Caprington) all progressed courtesy of walkovers against Stuart Robin (Rowallan Castle), Steven Knox (Malletsheugh) and Alan Baillie (Routenburn) respectively.

In the other two ties completed recently, John R. Anderson (Skelmorlie) won by 2&1 away to Alastair Bell (Troon Portland) and will now travel to play Mark Watt (Prestwick St Cuthbert) in round 2, whilst Alan McLean (Kilbirnie Place) won by 2&1 at home to Frank Drum (Troon St Meddans), nad will be away to Scott McIlwraith (Prestwick St Cuthbert) in round two.

The remaining first round ties are due to be completed by the 13th of June.
