AYRSHIRE HANDICAP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP - All seven qualifying sections now under way

All seven qualifying sections in the 2021 Ayrshire handicap League Championship are now under way, as clubs bid to qualify for the knockout stages later in the season.

Moorpark opened SECTION A with a 4 – 2 away win over West Kilbride.

In SECTION B, Kilmarnock Barassie moved to the top of the table following a 3 – 3 home draw with Ardeer.

In SECTION C , Ballochmyle have forged a good lead and remain unbeaten with recent home wins by 4 – 2 and 4.5 – 1.5 against Loudoun and Portmann respectively, and a 3 – 3 draw away to Ayr Belleisle.

No more fixtures have been played recently in SECTION E and SECTION F, whilst in SECTION G Prestwick St Cuthbert and Troon Welbeck both remain unbeaten at the top of the table.

Troon Welbeck had two 4 – 2 wins over tam O Shanter, home and away, whilst Prestwick St Cuthbert had a 4.5 – 1.5 away win against Troon St Meddans in their last fixture.
