THE AYRSHIRE BOYS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Draw for 2019 competition.

The 2019 Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship takes place at Prestwick Golf Club from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th August, with the eight players returning the best scratch aggregate scores in the Ayrshire Boys Championship progressing to contest the matchplay crown.

The cut this year for the matchplay fell at 159, with new Ayrshire Boys Strokeplay Champion Kerr Brooks (Irvine) leading the way on 151.

The draw for the first round of the matchplay, to be played on Tuesday 13th August, is:-

KERR BROOKS (Irvine) Vs. HARVEY McDONALD (Ayr Belleisle)

HARVEY BROADFOOT (Troon Welbeck) Vs. JACK ALLAN (Ballochmyle)

ROSS McDONALD (Kilmarnock Barasssie) Vs. CHRISTOPHER HUNTER (Ballochmyle)

JAMIE McKINNON (Caprington Vs. FRASER RUSSELL (Royal Troon)

In the event that any of the competitors become unavailable, the reserves are:-

Rhys McIlroy (Turnberry)
John McCracken (Kilmarnock Barassie)

Any player who becomes unavailable should contact the Area Secretary as soon as possible, to allow for replacement by one of the substitutes.
