Ayr Belleisle made further progress in the defence of their
Ayrshire Junior Golf league Championship crown recently, courtesy of a conceded
fixture against West Kilbride.
West Kilbride encountered player availability issues shortly
before their scheduled match at West Kilbride, and subsequently conceded the
tie to Ayr Belleisle the evening before the fixture date.

In the UNDER 16 KNOCKOUT TROPHY competition, Irvine took the
first place in the semi finals with a 2.5 – 1.5 home win over Kilmarnock
Barassie in their quarter final tie recently.
In the scratch club team competition for the WALLACE
THORNTON TROPHY, Prestwich St Nicholas overcame Irvine in their first round
encounter, winning their home leg 3 – 1 and enjoying a 3.5 – 0.5 win away from
home to go through by 6.5 – 1.5 on aggregate.
The St Nicholas team will now play Loudoun in the quarter
finals.
