The four first round matches in the 2018 Ayrshire handicap club team knockout competition for The President's Putter were completed recently.Ayr Neptune were 2 - 1 winners at home to Largs Routenburn and will play Auchenharvie 88 in round two, again at home, following Auchenharvie's opening round win over their own course by 2 - 1 against Girvan.
Prestwick St Cuthbert were also winners at home in round one, beating Ayr Belleisle 2.5 - 0.5 to set up a home tie in round two against Drongan, who booked their place with a 3 - 0 home win over Troon Portland.
