AYRSHIRE BOYS MATCHPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP - Ayr Belleisle players form half the field for Prestwick

Four of the eight players who will contest ther 2016 Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship at Prestwick GC next week play out of the Ayr Belleisle club.

The Qualifying cut at the Ayrshire Boys Championship, played at Loudoun on Thursday 4th August, fell at 153, with Jack Broun, Andrew Gordon, Charlie cameron and Callum Irving from the Ayr club all going forward to the matchplay event.

Two of the other qualifiers are from Turnberry, with the remaining two from ballochmyle and Troon Welbeck.

The matchplay championship begins on Tuesdy 9th August and concludes with the final on Thursday 11th August. All matches are scheduled to commence at 4.30 p.m..

The draw for the first round of the matchplay championship is :-
