Jack Broun (Ayr Belleisle) is the 2016 Ayrshire Boys Champion, following the event on 4^th August, when Broun performed in some style to take the trophy.

Broun’s total of 137, after rounds of 68 and 69, left the rest of the field trailing by a full eleven shots behind the new champion.

Second best scratch return was that of Andrew Gordon (Ayr Belleisle), his opening 72 being followed by a 76 for a 148 total.

The best nett score went to Kyle Brown (Turnberry) who tied with two other players on 140, winning the first place prise by virtue of the best second round.
