DOC THOM AYRSHIRE ORDER OF MERIT - Scottish Amateur run moves Stuart Robin into second place

Stuart Robin (Prestwick St Cuthbert) moved into second place in the Doc Thom Ayrshire Order Of Merit table this week, following his run to the quarter finals of the Scottish Amateur Championship at Muirfield.

Title holder John Shanks (Irvine) still leads the Order Of merit, but with three counting event still to play Robin, the 2013 winner, has given himself a real chamce of recapturing the title this year. Craig Hamilton (Ballochmyle) is presently in third place, and retains a realistic chance of taking the title for the first time, along with a number of other players who are still very much title contenders.
