AYRSHIRE JUNIOR ORDER OF MERIT - Euan Ferguson still leads title chase

With the Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit entering the last fortnight of counting events, Euan Ferguson (Turnberry) still leads the chase for the title, following completion of the latest counting event, The Prestwick St Nicholas Junior Open, this week.

Ferguson took points for second place in the event, whilst Callum Irving (Ayr Belleisle) and Jack Broun (Ayr Belleisle) also gained points at St Nicholas to consolidate their second and third places in the table respectively.

Like the Pollock Trophy at Kilmarnock (Barassie) recently, this weekends Brunston Classic Junior Open, at Brunston Castle, has been cancelled due to the low number of entries received by the closing date.

Over the next two weeks the remaining counting events will be played.
