AYRSHIRE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP - Entries close on 25th July

Players are reminded that entries for the 2015 Ayrshire Boys Championship close on 25th July.

The championship takes place this year at West Kilbride Golf Club on Thursday 6th August and is open to any male golfer under the age of 18 on 1st January 2015, who is resident in East, South or North Ayrshire or is a member of a recognised club affilliated to the Ayrshire Golf Association.

The handicap limit is 12 and the entry fee is £10.

The championship will be played over two rounds of scratch matchplay, with prizes for the best scratch and nett returns on the day.

The top eight in the championship will go forward to contest the Ayrshire Boys Matchplay Championship at Prestwick Golf Club from 11 to 13 August.

Entry forms for other junior events at West Kilbride and Kilmarnock (Barassie) atre also now available.

The Harris Boys Open at West Kilbride takes place, over 36 holes, on Tuesday 21st July.

The Pollock Trophy at Kilmarnock (Barassie) takes place, over 18 holes, on Tuesday 28th July.

Both these events are counting competitions in the 2015 Ayrshire Junior Order Of Merit

Also taking place at Kilmarnock (Barassie) on Tuesday 28th July is the Kilmarnock (Barassie) Junior Girls Open.
