SCOTTISH GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP - Three Troon girls qualify for matchplay stages

Three Troon Ladies GC members have qualified for the matchplay stages of the 2014 Scottiash Girls (Close) Championship, being played at Dumfries & County GC this week. 



Hazel McGarvie

Scotland internationalist Connie Jaffrey qualified in second place, after returning rounds of 74 & 73 for a 147 total, leaving her just two shots behind leading qualifier Clara Young from North Berwick.



Emma Hale

The other two Troon members, Hazel McGarvie and Emma Hale, both qualified on a total of 155. Hazel had rounds of 80 and 75 whilst Emma scored 79 & 76.

In the first round of matchplay on Thursday morning, Connie Jaffrey plays Mollie Stewart (Murcar Links), Emma Hale takes on Joanne Free (Gullane) whilst Hazel McGarvie takes on Charlotte Munro (Gullane).
