IRVINE GOLF CLUB - Captain Pauline has an ace day at the members & guests

Irvine Golf Club Lady Captain, Pauline Patrick, had a day to remember at the annual members & guests competition at the club on Tuesday 27th August, for at the 126 yard eighth hole she holed out in one shot, to the delight of herself and her playing partners.



The hole in one helped Pauline and her guest, Catherine Malcolm (Prestwick St Nicholas) to go on and record the best score of the day to win the competition.






The day's performance topped of a superb three days for Pauline who won the Club Championship at the weekend.

Holding office at the Irvine Ladies club seems to work wonders for your game as Lady Vice Captain Heather Malcolm completed a unique double at the weekend, following Pauline's win in the Club Championship by winning the Bronze Championship herself.

At the conclusion of the members & guests competition, Pauline was presented with a cut glass ornament, suitably engraved, to mark her hole in one during the event.
