NATIONS CUP McDonald helps Scots to 9th place overall

Jack McDonald (Kilmarnock Barassie) was one of the Scotland team who finished in ninth place in this weeks European Nations Cup tournament at Sotogrande in Spain.

After a reasonable start in the competition, the Scots faded over rounds 2 and 3 before coming good on the final day, with all four players recording their best round of the tournament, to surge into ninth place overall with a team score of 883.

Jack McDonald finished on 296 for a share of 23rd place in the individual standings.

England won the event with a team total of 856.
