WEST OF SCOTLAND LEAGUES - A match postponed as Youths get back to winning ways

The third match of the five match series in the 2012 West Of Scotland Inter County Leagues was a non starter for the Ayrshire A team on Sunday 30th September, with the match against Renfrewshire being postponed.

Heavy overnight rain forced the closure of the Ayr Belleisle course and the match has now been rescheduled to Sunday 21st October, at the same venue.

After a heavy defeat in last weeks match, the Ayrshire Youths team got back to winning ways when their match against the Renfrewshire youths team at Renfrew GC got the go ahead and the visitors returned home to Ayrshire with a 6 - 4 victory.

Colin Edgar (Cochrane Castle) lost to Jack McCluskey (Ayr Belleisle) by 5&4

Gavin Stirling (Caldwell) lost to Gary Morrison (Kilmarnock Barassie) by 4&3

Andrew Cunningham (Ranfurly Castle) beat Stephen Hill (Prestwick St Cuthbert) by 2 holes

Stephen Mullen (Greenock) lost  to Darryl Lynch (Ayr Belliesle) by 4&3

John Alexander (Gourock) beat Louis Murray (Troon Welbeck) by 7&5

Next Sunday, 7th October, the A team travel to Milngavie to face Dumbartonshire whilst the youths play host to Dumbartonshire Youths at West Kilbride.
