SCOTTISH CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP - Fifth place finish for Girvan at Arbroath

Girvan Golf Club finished in fifth place in the 16 strong field at the Scottish Club Championship played at Arbroath GC on Sunday 30th September.

 

The Ayrshire Club Championship winning team of Gary Bryden, Steven Stamper and Stewart White posted a four score total of 300 which left them 15 shots adrift of winners Blairgowrie.

 

With the best two morning and best two afternoon rounds counting towwards the team total, the score details for the Girvan players were :-

 

Morning :- G Bryden 77, S Stamper 77, S White 72 (149)

Afternoon :- G Bryden 74, S Stamper 77, S White78 (151)
