AYRSHIRE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP - Draw for 2011 event at Prestwick St Nicholas

The 2011 Ayrshire Boys Golf Championship will be held at Prestwick St Nicholas Golf Club on Thursday 4th August.

2010 winner Charlie Macneal (Troon Welbeck) - pictured - returns to defend the title and will face a strong challenge for his crown from a number of players, including Scottish Boys Champion David Wilson and Under 16 internationalist Euan Walker.

The 36 hole championship is restricted to players with a handicap of 12 or under.

There are still a limited number of places in the starting line up available, on a first come first served basis. Amy late applicants should note that an entry form, downloadable from the link on the left of thsi page under the 'Juniors Info' heading, is required to be sent along with the entry fee prior to the championship in order to confirm a place.

Any player looking for a late entry time should note that additional entries will not be accepted on the day, with only the possibility of replacement for a late withdrawal being available on the day of the competition. Consequently, any player who has not yet entered is advised to contact the Area Secretary and submit an entry form as soon as possible.
