SGU CLUB HANDICAP CHAMPIONSHIP - loudoun lead the way in Cochrane Castle qualifier.

Loudoun led the way as Ayrshire provided 6 of the 10 qualifying teams from the regional qualifying event at Cochrane Castle on 20th August, who won a place in the final of the SGU Club Handicap Championship which will take place at The Dukes, St. Andrews on Friday 1st October.

The Loudoun pairing of Chris Bone & John Haggarty, who were also both members of the Loudoun Team who won the Ayrshire Club Championship in July and will represent Ayrshire in the Scottish Club Championship final next month, returned a five under par score of 66 to take the top spot.
Saxone took third place, Tam O Shanter were forth, New Cuumnock secured the sixth qualifying place whilst Chase & Prestwick St Nicholas came in eighth and ninth.
