Scottish Champion Megan Briggs (Kilmacolm) won the 2010 West Of Scotland Ladies Championship at Cardross on Sunday 2nd May, with a five shot winning margin, after rounds of 72 & 76 for a 148 total.
For the second successive year Rachael McQueen (Troon ladies) - pictured right - was the best placed of the Ayrshire players in the field, finishing in joint 10th place on 161, after rounds of 82 & 79.
Next best of the Ayrshire players was former winner Catherine Malcolm (Prestwick St. Nicholas), the 1997 champion, who finished in 12th place on 162 after rounds of 83 & 79.
